We began by transforming banking practices. Now, we’re bringing that momentum to insurance.

In 2018, we helped ignite a movement for better banking, supporting brands to move hundreds of millions of dollars away from banks funding environmental harm, and toward institutions committed to a healthier world. That campaign empowered high-profile brands to rethink their financial relationships, pushed traditional banks toward greater climate accountability, and accelerated the growth of greener alternatives.

That’s when we recognized an even greater lever hiding in plain sight: insurance.

Unlike banks, insurers don’t just manage capital they also underwrite risk and influence which industries scale and which collapse. Their power is largely invisible but massively consequential. Through Premiums for the Planet, we’re now helping organizations use their collective voice, and their insurance dollars, to drive a systemic shift toward climate stewardship, equity, and resilience.
